LOOKING FORWARD TO OCTOBER
This week, I tried to get my passport documents in order which meant calling for an appointment. (no answer) They do have a local office and I was able to get my son's passport squared away, but for expedited services, I realize this may take more time than I expected. I plan to travel to a few places like Ireland, Amsterdam, Iceland and maybe Australia.
Its been getting chilly in Minnesota but the fall leaves are beautiful as ever.
I also joined another improv group online and that as a blast getting to know other people. This improv teacher had everyone give a compliment to each other. I didn't know anyone but I had a few ideas since I was the last person. Improv has been a game changer for me. And I found a motivation board in a local coffee shop and the first thing I wrote is "Hesitate Less, try improv" .
Each new improv group I've tried is like a breath of fresh air, and its helped me make tons of friends in a safe way (on ZOOM)

I hope you get that passport in time, I know all government offices (as well as the mail) seem to be working at snail speed.
ReplyDeleteYes. A lot of things are running at snail speed. speaking of which, remember snail mail. I just read that famous author sally rooney loves writing emails to friends in this day and age.
ReplyDeleteThat gif at the top made my day!!!

I love the gif and what a great mask! Looks like your son had great fun building that fort - enjoy all those precious moments together.
ReplyDeleteI have never gone through getting my passport so I don't know what a mess it is to try and get it. I like your sons name, it's quite unique. I've never read that name before.
ReplyDeleteYes, I am just now hearing that they have cards vs books. that tells you how long its been since I travelled.
DeleteGood luck with all the passport documents. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your travels!! It sounds like you have some exciting destinations planned!

Improv is supposed to be wonderful for writers, too. Maybe I should try it.
ReplyDeleteYour traveling ideas sound great. Hope you get to visit all those places.
I'd like to hear more about It Started with a Dog.
I find writers are equipped with stories and plot lines when they do improv and it helps with eventually putting your writing out there for the world to see.
DeleteHope you get your passport soon. It wasn't too bad for us, but we were renewing. We went to RiteAid to have our photo done and mailed the whole thing in.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your fall colors! Happy reading!
My lesson learned is that it costs a lot of money to get your passport pic done at the office. You can trim some money at Walgreens.
