Sunday Blog post

On Monday and Tuesday, I took my son to his pickleball practices. It has been fun watching him stay active and learn something new. Having those mornings together gave our week a nice rhythm.

Wednesday turned into an unexpected day where we didn’t have any morning activities so stayed in, caught up with each other, cleaned house. He really knows how to declutter the kitchen😀Then we went Half Price books to pick up the BlueLock manga series that we had ordered to the store. And we rode our bicycles around an icecream shop.

On Thursday, my son started soccer. It was exciting to see him begin another activity, and I enjoyed watching him take on a new challenge.

I also started doodling from a popular Moomin coloring book with Derwent Watercolors and some sparkly pens I got from Five BelowThis really helped me get out of my head a bit.

Saturday was one of those days that packed in a lot of good memories. Earlier in the day, I went to my niece's graduation party at my brother's house. We spent time on the back patio eating barbecue chicken and catching up with family.

Later that day, my son and I met his friends  at Lake Nokomis. We sat by the lake while he swam. I read my book, watched the sailboats go by, and watched kids jumping into the water. We stayed for a while and enjoyed the warm weather. With about a month of summer left in Minnesota, it felt like a good day to be outside

That was my week, how was yours? Let me know in the comments below.
