“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” – Mark Twain

This week I had some challenges and I had to remind myself of my goals and intentions.  It wasn't easy but I made it through the week.  I saw a great panel discussion about disability and comedy presented by HUGE theater.
I thought about getting a turtle and then thought fish may be all I can handle for now.  I took some great fall leaf pictures. We interviewed a comedian on our YouTube channel.

And guess what?!!!!! OUR channel interviewed broadcasting host 'Moon' aka Larry from the former 'Moon and Staci show' on KS95.  Moon talked about some of his trials with MS and how he got to meet Elton John and then was quickly escorted away by security.

  4. A turtle might not be too hard to take care of. I'm not sure though since I've never had a turtle. Fish are amazingly easy though.

  5. Not sure if you can see the ads we see when you visit your blog. But they are pretty racy or weird. Right now I am looking at one that says "Weird bathroom trick". That is why I decided to not monetize my blog. I want some control over what readers see. That said I am very interested in OPERATION IMMIGRATION. Let us know how it goes. 6. I had turtles at my school and they were wonderful. I had to get a really good filter, though. The turtles were red-eared sliders.

The Jodi Picoult book looks great.

    Have a good week.

    1. I heard red-eared sliders are real popular. I often seen the big turtles crossing busy roads and I'm not sure how they manage.

  7. The leaves are just starting here and it's still gorgeous. I saw it snowed there last week. Yikes.

    1. Thanks Shelley, a lot of my hurdles had to do with crossing my comfort zones and getting back to a point of calm.
