LOOKING FORWARD TO march
This week I saw my brother play hockey at Doug Woog arena. Great name, right?
My brother plays defense and his team played awesome that night-so they'll be going to the tournament. Hopefully, I'll see him play there as well. My brother is hard not to notice, he's got this real long beard, like one of those guys from Duck Dynasty.
Let's see, what else has been going on this week? My two year old had a great time playing at this community gym by our house. He's finally getting the hang of the trampoline, so he's been all about the bounce. And then last night I went to see a sketch/improv show at Fitzgerald theater.

Up Coming:
What a fun week! I don't regularly go to hockey games, but I did enjoy one a few years ago. So, not a regular.
ReplyDeleteBobby Kennedy's biography sounds good. Enjoy your week, and thanks for visiting my blog.
Laurel,Bobby's biography is great. So much I didn't know about him.
DeleteI used to be a huge Boston Bruins hockey fan way back when. I still watch them now and then if there's a game on tv here in the midwest.
ReplyDeleteBoston Bruins..I'll have to keep my eye on them:)
DeleteI've never watched hockey. I'm not into sports. Aww 2 years old, what a sweet age.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary, every day with the lil' one is a huggable moment.
DeleteWe don't watch a lot of hockey until the playoffs but we do follow the Penguins pretty regularly. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeletePenguins eh? I have two left feet myself, and even figure skating is tough.
DeleteFunny hockey pics. I am watching KHL. It is better in sense of time zones.
ReplyDeleteKHL? I had to look that up. International hockey, fun. I bet they pound on the glass a lot too.
DeleteSounds like a great week. I haven't ever been into hockey but I am not opposed to it either. I always wanted to see a live Hockey game. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteMary
I live right down the street from the Xcel energy center, Big hockey arena in Minnesota. It hasn't happened yet but I bet any day now I'll be sitting in the stands,
DeleteI've never been too much for hockey except all the ones on the pond or lake around our house when I lived there. People are serious about it! They shovel the rink and have lighting and everything - all winter! I am reading Elle Kennedy's hockey romances right now - they are great. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
Hockey and Romance, sounds like a good combination. Mariana Zapata writes a good hockey romance, called "The Wall of Winnipeg and Me." I think she even mentions Minnesota Wild Hockey.
