Camping Part 1 (a short story) by Trin Carl .  Inspired by Stephen King's, Mile 81

Stephen King's Mile 81 takes place on the Maine Turnpike on a boarded-up rest stop, a place where high school kids drink and get into trouble. Pete Simmons sneaks away from his older brother and arrives there, where he finds a bottle of vodka and pornographic magazines. He drinks enough to pass out.
A mud-covered station wagon (which is strange because there had not been any rain in New England for over a week) veers into the Mile 81 rest area, ignoring the sign that says "closed, no services." The driver's door opens but nobody gets out.

***In my version of Mile 81 (Called Camping), boy scout campers are in the middle of the woods in a warehouse built to hold camping supplies.  A monster bench is created and placed in the middle of the warehouse by a madwoman whose aim is to kill.

Flash Fiction Sunday piece

***In this piece, there is an email exchange between a not-to-happy customer and a business man.  The idea behind this email exchange was inspired by something I read in Simon vs the Homo sapien Agenda

A short story titled: We're Famous After all, Yes We Are by Trin Carl
