Reading, Pastry Paris: In Paris, Everything looks like a Dessert, by Susan Hockbaum.

Even though I say I'm reading this marvelously illustrated book of nonfiction.  Its more like I'm devouring the pages.  Hockbaum takes the French desserts and makes them her own comparing desserts like the Religieuse, a paair of cream puffs sitting on top of one another to a a military complex: Les Jnvalides, that houses Napoleon's burial ground.She mentions the following desserts:
