           LOOKING FORWARD TO AUGUST

This week I picked up someone who works for General Mills and had to get a rental car and drive four hours to a small town in Iowa because the power went out due to high winds.

We had moderate winds in Minnesota as well.  I remember waking up at 4 am to drive because I couldn't sleep.
I played a game on Improv called 'I am a Tree'
And it turned into a 'I'm a broken toe,' I am podiatrist fixing the toe'

photos from my week

That was my week, please tell me about yours in the comments below.

  1. We had incredibly high straight-line winds at the beginning of this week but fortunately the storm producing them passed through quickly and we had no damage.

  4. Whew. That's a lot of driving.

My son and daughter-in-law in Chicago had a lot of high winds, too. It's been hot and still here.

You always try such fun activities. I was fascinating with the chapter in Sorry I'm Late, I Didn't Want to Come that was about the author trying improv. She loved it. It was life-changing for her.

  6. From a tree to a podiatrist seems quite a leap.

Wishing you a great reading week

  7. Hope your toe feels better! I hope we don't have power outages because of the extreme heat here. Stay cool!
