LOOKING FORWARD TO AUGUST
This week I picked up someone who works for General Mills and had to get a rental car and drive four hours to a small town in Iowa because the power went out due to high winds.
We had moderate winds in Minnesota as well. I remember waking up at 4 am to drive because I couldn't sleep.
I played a game on Improv called 'I am a Tree'
And it turned into a 'I'm a broken toe,' I am podiatrist fixing the toe'

We had incredibly high straight-line winds at the beginning of this week but fortunately the storm producing them passed through quickly and we had no damage.
ReplyDeleteDid the person who worked at General Mills talk about cereal? lol
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping your weather is good and no winds. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWhew. That's a lot of driving.
ReplyDeleteMy son and daughter-in-law in Chicago had a lot of high winds, too. It's been hot and still here.
You always try such fun activities. I was fascinating with the chapter in Sorry I'm Late, I Didn't Want to Come that was about the author trying improv. She loved it. It was life-changing for her.
I love your photos! You probably see a lot when you spend so much time driving. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
From a tree to a podiatrist seems quite a leap.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week
Hope your toe feels better! I hope we don't have power outages because of the extreme heat here. Stay cool!
ReplyDeleteThat’s some driving! Hope you have a good week!
