Today's post will link up to The Sunday SalonThe Sunday Post and Stacking the Shelves for weekly updates.

           LOOKING FORWARD TO JULY

Why am I celebrating people?
Because people are so great!
I got this idea from a laugh with some great people.

This was a fun conversation I had with someone

How tall are you?

I’m short
Can I give you a hug or hand shake after this ride is over?
Umm, We’ll see.
(Passenger falls asleep
Ride stops.)
How about that hug?
Umm no

Here is another chat

The ride says were going 74 feet
Now Trin, where would you have dropped me off?
Well, I would have dropped you the same place I picked you up.

I also had a picked up some more snacks from the school bus that makes deliveries every week.

I did a scene on ZOOM with a woman who was pretending she had a baby doll in a box, and I told her how she's always putting baby dolls in boxes and then I brought my own son into the soon, which everyone loved because they thought it was so like an Improviser to do something like that. I also talked to a few people about mindfulness in improv and my friend Taj will be teaching a class on this topic if you're interested. I'm also excited to learn that the Fringe (Theatre) Festival in the Twin Ciites will be going Virtual and I bought my button, so go buy yours at https://www.minnesotafringe.org/
I included some entertainment if you're interested.

Watch it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxRMlv-mwxM&utm

That was my week, please tell me about yours in the comments below.

  1. I think it's great that so many festivals have the option of doing something virtual instead of having to cancel.

  3. I learned that the Houston Symphony is doing a virtual performance each Saturday night in July for just ten dollars. I want to support that and more virtual art.

You learn so much from conversations during your work.

    Have a good week.

  7. The guy wanting a hug is funny. Years ago there was a guy at the grocery store that I would see all the time and he came up and asked me if he could hug me. So I gave him a hug. He would hug me everytime he saw me and hubby thought it was hilarious.
