So this week I had a terrible time with my contacts.  I have been ordering my contacts online from Canada, because they are way cheaper, and even realized that ordering contacts internationally is way better because the contacts are thinner and last longer.  So Yay! me for figuring that out.  I also saw myself mentioned, as a spectator, in my friend's online magazine article.  We both went to see a Fringe play called

“Chasing Blue” by Bea Cordelia and Dasia liked the play so much, she wrote a review. The link is here : https://transgenderheaven.com/media-review-chasing-blue-a-fringe-play-by-bea-cordelia/

Dasia Anderl is very much involved in the LGBT community.  She'll be giving a talk soon on public radio.

I also had comedian/musician Amanda Costner interview on my blog (click here for interview) and she's being featured in Lavender, Minnesota's GLBT magazine.  So congrats to her.

I hope y'all have a great week.

  1. I didn't even realize you could order contacts from another country. Thanks for the info, I need to look into that.

    1. Yeah, I order mine from both Canada or Pakistan. Pakistan's got real thin contacts.

  2. I hope you've got your contacts straightened out - you sure don't want to mess with your eyes.

    1. Sure don't want to mess with my eyes, but I've been seriously thinking lasik just because I wear my contacts to bed which can wreck havoc on your eyes later on.

  3. I wear reading glasses but I've never tried contacts.

    1. A lot of people are quite afraid of wearing contacts, I got mine at 24 and the eye specialists wouldn't let me leave with them until I got them in my eye, good lesson.

  4. Wow! You are busily reading seven books at once. That's a lot of books.

    Enjoy June!

  5. I have not had glasses other than readers but it is coming, at least for reading. You always do the most unusual and interesting things. Have a wonderful week with great reads!

    1. Thanks Anne, people say I like to move to the beat of my own Drum and I guess that's pretty true. Literally and metaphorically.

  6. I’ve only just gotten reading glasses, though I don’t use them as often as I should.
Red, White and Royal Blue has been a popular read this month, I need to add some Pride titles to my reading list.

    Have a great reading week
